This makes us a FREE-TO-JOIN program for young Canadians!

You can be a part of the tradition and the ceremony of the Guard of Honour, Marching Band, Colour Party, or Drill Team!

Training includes: Sailing, Marksmanship, Communications, Seamanship, First Aid, Marine Navigation, Basic and Advanced Boat Handling, Biathlon, Rope Work, Sports, Snorkeling, and MUCH, MUCH MORE!

Sea Cadets have the opportunity to cruise to foreign ports aboard Her Majesty’s Canadian Ships, Canadian Coast Guard Vessels, and tall ships! Summer camps across Canada offer Sea Cadets a variety of two, three, and six week courses in Music, Sailing, Athletics and MORE! International Exchanges are also available through the Sea Cadet Program, as are opportunities for full-time, paid summer employment.
